Europe take a three point lead into the final day of the Ryder Cup, with the twelve singles matches to be played on Monday due to the rain interuptions on Friday and Sunday. Colin Montgomerie's Europe side require five points to regain the Ryder Cup after defeating the Americans five and a half points to half a point in Sunday's foursome and fourball matches.

European Captain Colin Montgomerie made his three wild card picks and they are Padraig Harrington, Eduardo Molinari and Luke Donald and are added to the nine that qualify via the World Points List and the European Points List. Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy, Ian Poulter and Graeme McDowell all make the team at Celtic Manor.

American skipper Corey Pavin will get the chance of picking four wildcards for his American team now that the eight automatic spots have been given. With the likes of Tiger Woods, Anthony Kim and Nick Watney all needing a wildcard, it'll be interesting to see who Pavin picks on September 7th.
