The top five players in this list will be automatically selected provided that they have not already been selected in the World points list. The leading five players currently are:

European Wild Card Selections
Montgomerie will have three players of his choice that will make up the 12 strong team. Players in the running for a wild card at this time would be the three with highest position in the World rankings, although it is emphasised that this will be Monty’s decision. Those three are:
