Dubbed the 'Miracle of Medinah', Jose Maria Olazabal's European side came back from a 10-6 deficit to win the 2012 Ryder Cup by 14.5pts to 13.5pts.
The American's were as short as 1/33 going into the Sunday singles at Medinah but a spirited display from the Europeans saw them win eight and a half points from a possible twelve to win the Harry Vardon Trophy.
