Scotsman Paul Lawrie will cap off a very good 2012 by qualifying for the Ryder Cup in style when winning the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles. That was Lawrie's second win of the season following a success in the Qatar Masters at the beginning of the year, whilst he also played well in both math play events this season. This will be Lawrie's second Ryder Cup appearance following his display in 1999 where he scored 3.5 points out of a possible 5 at Brookline.
