The Ryder Cup matches are visiting Wales for the first time ever in 2010 and more specifically to the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales. Celtic Manor was chosen to host the Ryder Cup in 2001 and since then the course has under gone serious renovation with 2010 in mind.

The Matches will be played on the brand new "Twenty Ten" course that was designed specifically with the Ryder Cup in mind and will be able to host 50,000 spectators. The new course incorporates the old Wentwood Hills course as well as some new holes. An additional clubhouse was also built for the event and opened in 2007 as the cub continued to pour money into the course ahead of the 2010 Ryder Cup.
